Yingkou Krosakiharima Refractories Co., Ltd (YKR) is a Sino-Japanese joint venture company founded in 1996 by Yingkou Jinlong Group and Krosaki Harima Corporation of Japan with an investment of 36,500,000RMB, of which Jinlong holds 51% and Krosaki Harima 49%. YKR currently has 248 employees and covers an area of 40,000 square meters.

YKR passed ISO-9001:1994 in 1997, the first refractories company in China to obtain this certificate and then passed ISO-14001 and OHSAS-18001 in 2003 and 2009 respectively; in 2017, it successfully passed the Three in One examination.  

YKR now has two Magnesia Carbon brick production lines mainly producing steelmaking applicable magnesia carbon bricks, alumina magnesia carbon bricks, alumina SiC carbon bricks and magnesia calcium carbon bricks with an annual capacity 50,000-60,000tons in total.

In order to advance the company’s production techniques, expand production capacity for BOF applicable bricks, improve workshops’ environment and better guarantee product quality, YKR brought in 1 set brand new 1600-ton vacuum press and reformed the second mixing system by newly installing brand new and high speed mixers in the second half of 2017. Currently, 18 pressing machines, 18 mixers, 2 full-automatic batching systems as well as numbers of brick cutters and grinders are available in YKR.

YKR always puts quality and honesty as its first priority. With close cooperation by its foreign party, YKR has increased its export ratio from 20% to 90 % rapidly, covering over 30 countries and regions, such as Japan, Germany, South Korea, France, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Finland, USA, Russia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Ukraine, etc. For domestic market, YKR supplies to more than 10 large-scale steelmaking companies, such as Shougang, Qiangang, Jingtang, Baogang, Nangang, Sugang, Rizhao Steel, Yongfeng Steel, Zhongtian Steel, etc. YKR is highly spoken of by all the customers for its constantly stable product quality and wins itself as an export model enterprise locally.
